Note From the Founder,
Ruphina Pettis
SACC was started in order to provide our children with a place of their own-
somewhere to learn, socialize and have fun. Through our use of mentors and
tutors we offer homework assistance after school, instruction in literacy,
art, music, computers and more.
I urge my fellow Africans to get involved in our mission to serve Chicago's African youth. Please support the
non-profit organizations in our African communities. Become a mentor, tutor, board member
or sponsor If you would specifically like to become involved with Sunlight African Community Center, please call,
visit our center or send a tax deductible donation.
Thank you all ! We hope to hear from you soon. |
